CARBRITE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

POSITION SUMMARY:

Covering Denver, Colorado, and the surrounding area, the ideal candidate will reside in the Denver area. CarBrite, a premiere detailing distributor in Colorado, has an opportunity in our appearance division for an outside salesperson to represent our company and our products in the business to business market. If you are a successful, proven B2B outside sales professional that enjoys helping your customers be more productive then we would love to talk to you. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Area Sales Manager in developing strategies and tactics that ensure the attainment of company sales goals and profitability in key markets through assigned geography. 

  • Conduct customer analysis to include on-demand forecasting, competitor capabilities, customer profiles, and the next best alternatives. 

  • Identify and bid all appropriate projects within the assigned marketing area. Participate in the development of a bid strategy for each job. 

  • Develop and maintain relationships within the appearance/detailing community. Leverage these relationships to get carBrite products specified on future projects.

  • Establish short and long term goals and strategies in regards to key clients and prospects. Develop specific action plans to achieve goals. 

  • Will be responsible for meeting specific sales volumes and profit margin goals on assigned routes.

  • Partner with other departments (Sales, Operations, and Accounting) to ensure every account receives the highest level of customer service. 

  • Communicate with the sales team to manage and coordinate sales to customers who overlap geographic boundaries and markets. 

  • Actively participate in industry-related classes and techniques as required to develop and maintain the latest trade product technology and applications.

  • Manage relationships with key accounts throughout the region. 

  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers and vendors as needed with a team lead.

  • Prospect opportunities and companies and market products within core markets.

  • Create and maintain Strategic Opportunity and Account plans for strategic opportunities or accounts

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record of prior goal achievement showing an increase in sales and customer growth. 

  • Equivalent 5 years automotive detail experience.

  • Previous Appearance Sales experience preferred. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required and comfortable working with and presenting to all levels within an organization. 

  • Must hold and maintain all required credentials including a valid driver license with a clean driving record is required for a class C vehicle.

  • Physical requirements must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, lift-gate.
